A charming family-run 19th century farmhouse, offering bed and breakfast and optional gourmet country dinners, located in the department of Cher, in the heart of France.

A peaceful retreat, where you can visit castles, gardens, a superb Cistercian Abbey and Roman churches. Bourges, a medieval city, with its famous cathedral, is just forty kilometers away. La Berthoderie is just eighteen kilometres from the 17th century fortress of Saint-Amand Montrond and many other interesting places.

We are located just outside the quaint village of Morlac, in a big forested park. We can arrange some excellent lake fishing for you, but no pets please. La Berthoderie is only a ten minute drive from the A71 Motorway from Paris to Montpellier, near the Millau viaduct underpass.

ACCOMODATION: 4 large rooms accommodating eight to ten people in total. There will be a 25% discount on all rooms, starting on the third night.

PRICES: 46 to 48 euros per night for a double room, including a country breakfast.

TABLE D'HOTES : Only 17 euros for a hearty country dinner.
